Obedience is vital in your Chihuahua. At Leeds Dog School we will train your dog to a high level in obedience.We also believe that this should involve the owner at every stage and so our training is one to one with you and your dog. It’s important that your dog obeys your commands and we work with you until you are confident in controlling your dog.

Some trainers believe that giving a dog treats is the best way to train but in our opinion relying on treats exclusively just does not work. Your dog may learn how behave but only does it at because there's a treat at the end of it and many times treats just stop working. -

Training should start as soon as  possible. You’ll be amazed just how quickly they learn and at a very early age.It’s just fun for them and they love it! We train all breeds from just a few weeks.

We do not train in classes. All our training is 1-2-1 with you and your puppy at your home and where you would normally go on a walk. We are convinced that this is a much more effective way of training your puppy than in a classroom.

  • Toilet Training - we will show you the easiest way to toilet train your puppy
  • Crate Training - we will show you how to crate train your puppy
  • Biting - we will show you how to stop "mouthing" or biting
  • We stop Puppy Aggression
  • We stop barking
  • We stop jumping up
  • We stop jumping on furniture
