1-2-1 TRAINING AT YOUR HOME

Puppy Training of your new puppy should be done as as soon as possible. You’ll be amazed just how quickly they learn and at a very early age. It’s just fun for them and they love it! We train all breeds from just a few weeks. They are taught obedience just the same as an adult dog. Then we train you so that you can keep up with it.

We do not offer classes. All our training is 1-2-1 with you and your puppy at your home and where you would normally go on a walk. We are convinced that this is a much more effective way of training your puppy. We can deal with your specific problems with your puppy and your specific training requirements. We help you to train your puppy. In our opinion, this cannot be achieved in a classroom with lots of other puppies who are more interested in playing with each other than listening or learning.

TOILET TRAINING

Toilet-Training

Toilet training you new puppy can be very frustrating. We can show you how to get your puppy into the routine of going outside. We don’t suggest puppy pads as we believe your puppy should be trained to go outside from day one.

CRATE TRAINING

Dogs instinctively prefer the shelter of a den. In the wild the young are raised in dens. They spend a great part of their first year very close to their den. In homes, dogs often choose their den. They will get under a desk, or behind a couch.A dog crate is a perfect, natural bed for the dog and a safe, natural spot to put the pet whenever necessary for the dog's safety or the owner's peace of mind.

MOUTHING & BITING

Mouthing

"Mouthing" and biting is very common with all puppies particularly when they are teething but it can last until they are older. A bite from a puppy can be very painful and it needs to be stopped. Mouthing can also be intimidating for young children. We can show you how to stop this.

JUMPING UP

Jumping-Up

Jumping up at visitors or at strangers on a walk is a very common problem with all dogs. It can be very annoying for visitors to your home and it needs to be stopped as soon as possible. It's best to start early with your puppy as when your puppy grows it can be alarming.

LEAD WALKING

Not-Walking-on-the-lead

Your puppy should be taught to walk on the lead. Particularly very young puppies find their first walks difficult and do not understand that they have to be on a lead and can often refuse to walk. We can show you how to encourage your dog to walk on the lead.

PULLING ON THE LEAD

Pulling-on-lead

All young puppies pull on the lead as they are interested in everything and want to play with every dog they see. This is not usually aggressive but can turn into this as your puppy grows. We will show how to stop pulling and show you how to get your puppy to walk at your side.

CONSTANT BARKING

Barking

All dogs bark but if it becomes constant then it becomes a problem. As well as being irritating for the owner, it can be very annoying for the neighbours. Barking should be controlled and we can show you how to do it.

JUMPING ON THE FURNITURE

Jumping-on-furniture

Your puppy will think it's great fun to jump on the furniture but it should not be encouraged. Furniture is for people to sit on not for dogs as they have their own bed. We will show you how to stop this.

AGGRESSION

Aggression

Puppies can be very aggressive. Particularly as they get a little older. We can show you how to control this.
